Privacy Policy

Effective July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how mbpstobytes.com (“Mbps to Bytes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use this website, its calculators, and its contact form.

1) The short version

2) Information processed when you visit

For more detail about Google’s processing on sites that use its services, read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

3) Information you choose to send

When you use the contact page, we receive the name, email address, message, and any other information you include. The form is processed by Web3Forms, which acts as a service provider for form delivery and spam prevention. Web3Forms states that submission data may be retained for up to three years, subject to the account plan or earlier deletion. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.

You can instead email us using the address on the contact page. Please do not send passwords, payment details, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal data.

4) Why we process information

5) Cookies, consent, and advertising choices

Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies. For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, our Google tags default analytics and advertising storage to denied until a valid consent signal is provided. Advertising consent in those regions is managed through a Google-certified consent management platform.

You can change or remove cookies in your browser. Google also provides My Ad Center for ad-personalization controls and a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking storage or scripts may affect analytics, advertising, or some site behavior.

6) Service providers and disclosures

We use Vercel for hosting and delivery, Google Analytics for measurement, Google AdSense for advertising, Google Fonts for typeface delivery, and Web3Forms for contact-form delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy documentation. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to investigate abuse or security incidents, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not charge for calculators and do not collect payment-card details. We do not intentionally sell personal information for money. Advertising technology may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under some state privacy laws, depending on how it is configured and the law that applies.

7) Retention

We retain direct correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain correction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Hosting, analytics, advertising, and form providers apply their own retention schedules. Web3Forms’ published policy states that form submissions may be retained for a maximum of three years unless a shorter period applies or they are deleted earlier.

8) Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing.

9) International processing and security

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, providers describe safeguards for international transfers in their privacy terms or data-processing agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10) Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

11) Changes

We may update this policy as the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. For material changes, we may provide an additional notice on the site.

12) Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the contact page or to the email address listed there.
